Sofa Assembly: what's included
UPTask assembles sofas and modular sectionals across the Bay Area. We build the selected sections, attach the supplied legs, arms and backs as required, and join modules using the manufacturer’s connectors. The work includes positioning cushions and checking the finished alignment and stability. Online pricing starts at $79 for two sections and follows the number of separate modules, not the number of cushions or individual frame panels. Bringing boxes from the garage or entryway, dismantling an old sofa, and moving the dismantled sofa to another room or garage are separate extras at $30 each.

A corner unit, chaise or seating section may arrive in multiple packages, so the number of cartons is not a reliable substitute for the number of modules. Do not count loose cushions, arms or back panels as separate sections. Check the intended layout against the product instructions before the connections are fitted.
Online assembly is $79 for two sections, $89 for three, $99 for four, $119 for five and $129 for six. For a larger arrangement, choose 7+ and enter the exact total; each section beyond six adds $20. Select any help needed to bring in new boxes, take apart the old sofa or move its dismantled components. These tasks are priced separately from the new build.

Should I count modules, seats or cushions for a sofa booking?

How do I enter a sectional larger than six modules?
