Table Assembly: what's included
An extendable table includes work on both its supporting structure and its supplied opening system when that construction is selected. The base, legs and top are assembled, then the extension components fitted and their movement and alignment checked. This covers the table’s supplied design rather than just building its closed outline.
Any chairs added to the same booking are assembled separately from the mechanism work. The finished table is checked for stable assembly and fitted fasteners, with packaging gathered afterward. The included tasks use the manufacturer’s components; they do not create an alternative extension system or enlarge the table.

Measure the table in its fully extended position, including the room needed to pull out chairs. A closed top can fit neatly into a dining corner while the open surface conflicts with a doorway or cabinet. Check the intended layout before the assembly appointment.
Keep the extension leaves and their instructions with the table parts. Some leaves store within the table while others need a separate storage position; follow the model’s directions rather than assuming the mechanism provides built-in storage.
For pricing, select the extendable type and use the full seating capacity, not only the number of places you use daily. Check any building access requirements for your San Francisco address and have the cartons ready in the room. Chairs are added only when they need assembly. Which size fits a table seating four closed and eight open?
Use eight people, reflecting the fully extended capacity. The extendable starting price is $89 online and the eight-person adjustment is $20, for $109 before chair assembly. The smaller closed setting does not replace the maximum seating selection.
Does every extending table have storage inside for its leaves?
No. Use the manufacturer’s instructions to identify whether leaves store within the frame or separately. Have all supplied leaves available for the assembly and checking process. Choose a suitable storage plan for loose leaves without assuming an internal compartment is part of the model.
Should I clear the full open-table footprint for the visit?
Yes. Leave enough room for the supplied extension mechanism to operate and for the additional surface to be checked. Clear nearby furniture and loose belongings beforehand. Measuring only the closed footprint can leave too little space to complete those checks.
