Cabinet Assembly: what's included
A sideboard build includes both the outer furniture body and the storage fitted within it. The pro assembles the supplied base, legs, back panels and shelves, then installs the doors and drawers selected for that unit. Handles are fitted and the completed fronts are checked for door alignment and drawer movement.
Storage cabinets and chests receive the same applicable body and selected-component work for their own supplied designs. Suitable manufacturer-provided anti-tip fittings can be installed according to the wall and instructions. Tidying the area completes the furniture assembly, separate from any selected old-buffet disassembly or movement.
- Assemble the body of the selected sideboard, buffet, cabinet or chest from the supplied kit.
- Fit its provided shelves and back panels together with the supplied base and legs.
- Complete the booked door and drawer installation across the unit’s selected storage sections.
- Attach the handles, align the supplied doors and check movement of the fitted drawers.

Plan the entire sideboard, including its drawers
A sideboard with four doors and two drawers has six counted components. At the $79 online sideboard starting amount, four components beyond the allowance add $20, giving $99 before extras. Count small upper drawers even when the buffet’s large cupboards dominate the product photograph.
Measure the finished width against the wall and leave room for the doors and drawers to open. The top surface may appear ready early in the build, but keep dishes and other belongings off the furniture until assembly and movement checks are complete.
Have the back panel, legs, handles and hinge packets with the main cabinet parts. The pro assembles the freestanding unit as supplied and can fit appropriate manufacturer-provided anti-tip hardware after reviewing the wall and instructions. A countertop alteration or custom built-in installation is outside this described furniture task. If replacing a large old buffet, select disassembly and movement separately as needed, and decide where the dismantled pieces will remain at the property.

Does assembling a buffet include fitting a custom countertop above it?
