One chair and two chairs use the same online minimum, but the booking should still describe how many need building. Choose one for a single new piece, even when there is already a matching chair in the room. Select two only when both require assembly, and keep completed furniture outside the working area.
For Santa Clara appointments, the current minimum is $69 and each chair after the second adds $10. The work includes the supplied seats, backs, legs and standard frame components, followed by connection and stability checks. What if the chair instructions are missing from the delivery?
Find the instructions for the exact model through the retailer or manufacturer before the appointment. Keep the product label and hardware bags with the kit. A similar-looking chair may use different fittings, so have the correct assembly guide available rather than substituting another model’s manual.
Must I remove screws that arrive already fitted to a chair part?
Keep the components as supplied unless the manufacturer’s instructions call for a preparation step you understand. Some fittings have designated positions shown in the parts diagram. Having the kit and correct manual ready is more useful than removing preinstalled hardware and mixing it with the separate fastener bags.
Should I strip all protective wrapping from upholstered parts before the visit?
