Dresser Assembly: what's included
UPTask assembles the dresser you have purchased, from the cabinet body and back panel to the individual drawer boxes. We fit the supplied runners, fronts and handles, then check drawer movement and alignment. The online minimum is $89 for up to four drawers; every drawer above that allowance adds $5. Count small top drawers as well as full-width drawers when booking. Suitable manufacturer-supplied anti-tip hardware can be fitted following the instructions. Have all cartons, fittings and the manual ready in the room, or select the $19 extra for bringing boxes from a nearby location into the assembly room.

Plan the drawers, the position and the delivery
A useful dresser starts with the right fit for the room. Before the appointment, check the finished dimensions against the intended wall and leave clearance to pull every drawer out. Door swings, closet access and nearby bedside furniture matter as much as the cabinet width. Choose the final position before work begins so the completed unit does not need an unnecessary move.
The booking is based on individual drawers, not rows, handles or the number of delivery cartons. A wide model with two small drawers above four larger ones has six drawers. All six need their own boxes and runners, so the online assembly price is $99 before optional carrying. Enter an exact count from two to eighteen when a preset does not match the product.
Keep the furniture instructions and anti-tip kit with the hardware packets. Wall compatibility must be checked before the supplied restraint is fitted; purchasing an unfamiliar anchor or modifying the dresser is not part of the standard assembly description. Appointment availability is checked for your address throughout the Bay Area, and the same drawer-count pricing applies across the service area.

How is the online assembly total calculated from my drawer count?
The minimum is $89 for two, three or four drawers. After the fourth, each complete drawer adds $5: a five-drawer model is $94 and a six-drawer model is $99. Optional carrying is priced separately from assembling the furniture.
Do small dressers receive a lower minimum charge?
A dresser with two or three drawers still uses the $89 minimum. Enter the actual count rather than selecting four by default; the pro needs an accurate description of the furniture even when several configurations have the same price.
What should I enter when my model is not one of the drawer presets?
Use the manual quantity field for the complete number of drawers. The supported range is two through eighteen. Count small divided top drawers individually, and include lower drawers even if the product photo makes them look like a single row.
What must be available for the anti-tip fitting?
Keep the restraint supplied by the manufacturer and its instructions with the dresser parts. It can be fitted when that hardware is appropriate for the wall and installation described by the manufacturer. An unsuitable or missing kit needs review before that work can proceed.
Is bringing delivery cartons into the bedroom included?
Carrying is a selectable $19 extra. It covers bringing the boxed dresser from the garage, entryway or another nearby location at your home or apartment into the assembly room. Describe the access route if the boxes are not already where the dresser will be built.
Can I see appointments before choosing a delivery date?
Check the booking calendar for your address and arrange the visit after all dresser cartons are due to arrive. Same-day openings may be available. The work varies with the model and drawer count, so a large multi-drawer unit should not be planned around a small chest’s assembly time.
What happens to my appointment if the retailer changes delivery?
Open the appointment in the UPTask mobile app and select another available time. Wait until the delivery includes every carton and hardware pack before the assembly visit, especially when the cabinet panels and drawer components ship separately.
Who should I contact about a drawer alignment problem after the visit?
Contact UPTask about a drawer, runner or assembled connection that needs attention. The service has a workmanship warranty. Describe the issue and the affected drawer so it can be reviewed; a damaged manufactured component may also need support from the furniture seller.
