Bed Assembly: what's included
Assembly follows the bed’s final configuration, including the supplied frame, supports and ordinary end panels. The pro connects those components according to the model instructions, with any booked trundle, storage or other eligible integrated feature assembled as part of the selected work. A feature’s moving parts remain governed by the supplied design.
For bunk or loft beds, supplied guardrails and the model’s ladder are fitted; selected storage stairs replace that standard ladder. The finish includes checking frame connections and stability, followed by tidying the work area. Carrying or old-bed tasks belong to the separate extras selected for the visit.
- Join the supplied frame and ordinary headboard or footboard in the configuration chosen for assembly.
- Complete the mattress-support structure with the slats or other supports included in the kit.
- Build a trundle, storage compartment or eligible integrated feature only when included in your booking.
- Install the supplied bunk or loft guardrails, with its standard ladder unless storage stairs are booked instead.
- Finish with connection and stability checks and tidying of the space used for the build.

When booking, distinguish a standard headboard from a storage or bookcase headboard and select every applicable drawer or mechanism. How do I prepare a walk-up in the Sunset or Richmond?
If stairs lead to your room, share the floor, stair layout and any narrow turns before the visit. Check that the boxed components can reach the intended room. Select the carrying extra when needed and discuss access that may fall outside its listed scope; assembly alone does not include moving the boxes upstairs.
Our building uses a service elevator. What should I arrange?
Check reservation requirements and permitted access times with building management before choosing your appointment. Keep the loading entrance and unit information available for the pro. The building’s rules determine those arrangements; select a time when both the room and the access route will be available.
Will a trundle work if the room is only slightly wider than the frame?
Compare the manufacturer’s dimensions with the room while the trundle is fully extended, not only tucked away. Include space for nearby doors and furniture. The service assembles the purchased design; it cannot make a pull-out frame narrower or change the clearance the model needs.
Do I need to remove the old frame before the new one is built?
There needs to be enough clear floor space for the new components. If you need help, choose old-bed disassembly and, separately, moving the dismantled frame out of the room. Decide where the pieces will be placed within the property. Off-site disposal is outside these listed extras.
Can a storage headboard be trimmed to fit an alcove?
The listed work follows the supplied design and assembly instructions. Cutting panels or altering the headboard is not included. Check its full width and height against the alcove before booking, and select the storage-headboard feature only when the unmodified model fits the space.
