Bed Assembly: what's included
A daybed build includes the supplied frame and its ordinary side, back or end components as defined by the manufacturer. Supports or slats are fitted with the corresponding frame connections. A selected trundle, expanding platform or storage feature is assembled as the additional mechanism recorded in your booking.
The same included-work boundaries apply to the other available frame types. Bunk and loft beds include supplied guardrails and their standard ladder or booked storage stairs; ordinary end panels remain frame work. The completed structure is checked for connection and frame stability, and the assembly area is tidied.
- Assemble the selected frame and its supplied ordinary side, back, headboard or footboard components.
- Install supports or slats with the manufacturer’s fittings to complete the chosen frame structure.
- Build the booked trundle, expanding daybed platform or storage feature supplied with the model.
- Assemble the supplied bunk or loft guardrails, using the selected staircase instead of the standard ladder where booked.

Set up a bed or daybed in Palo Alto

Count storage drawers separately from either sleeping mechanism. If the headboard includes shelves or storage, choose its corresponding feature rather than treating it as an ordinary headboard.
Check the manufacturer’s full dimensions with the bed opened into its intended configuration, and leave space for assembly in that room. Keep all supplied fittings and instructions together. Can the boxes stay in the garage at my Crescent Park home?
If you want help bringing them to the assembly room, select the $19 boxed-bed carrying extra and explain the route at your Palo Alto property. Otherwise, have the components ready in the room where they will be assembled. Check access before the visit if the garage and room use different entrances.
How should I check a guest room that will use a pull-out bed?
Measure with the complete sleeping configuration open, including the trundle or expanding platform. Check the manufacturer’s required clearances against doors and other furniture. A layout that fits the closed daybed may not have enough usable space when it is extended.
Does a matching bedside cabinet belong in the bed’s storage options?
A separately purchased cabinet or nightstand is an independent furniture item. The bed’s storage options apply to components integrated into that model. Add the matching furniture service for the separate piece, and keep its own hardware and instructions with it.
What should I have ready for a storage bed with several instruction booklets?
