Bookcase Assembly: what's included
UPTask assembles the selected full-height bookcase columns, fits their supplied shelves and installs the doors and drawers included in your booking. Count vertical frames from bottom to top, not individual shelf levels. One column starts at $59 online and each additional column adds $30. Standard doors add $5 each, glass doors $10 each and drawers $5 each. Suitable anti-tip hardware supplied with the furniture can be fitted following the manufacturer’s instructions. Keep the kit complete and choose the final position before assembly, with the bookcase empty until the work and any required anchoring are complete.

Plan the columns, storage fronts and final wall position
Begin with the structure behind the shelves. A narrow frame running from the bottom to the top is one column. Several separate full-height frames placed together count individually, even when the retailer shows them as a single storage combination. Shelf levels do not add columns. Use the manufacturer’s drawing to identify the complete configuration before selecting the quantity.
Doors and drawers add fitting work. Choose the door types supplied with the furniture and enter each count; a combination can include both standard and glass fronts. Drawers are counted separately from those doors. Keep any additional cartons with the main frames so the pro has the full set of shelves, hinges, runners and fasteners available.
Check the finished width and height, plus the space needed to open doors or drawers. The final position also matters for fitting the supplied anti-tip hardware, which must be suitable for the wall. Extra help bringing new boxes in, dismantling an old bookcase or moving its dismantled parts nearby can be selected separately. What is needed for the included anti-tip fitting?

Which options help replace an old bookcase?

Include the full configuration when checking appointments: column count, doors and drawers all affect the work. A plain open unit and a multi-column combination with fitted fronts differ in assembly. How can I change the appointment after a split furniture delivery?
