Bookcase Assembly: what's included
The selected bookcase is built from its supplied frame and shelf components, with booked doors and drawers fitted into that structure. The manufacturer’s anti-tip kit is considered part of the furniture installation when supplied and suitable for the actual wall; it is not treated as an unrelated shelf accessory.
This included restraint work is conditional on that compatibility, while the frame, shelf and selected storage work follows the product’s design. A partly started unit should have its remaining scope reviewed before work continues. The assembly area is tidied after the agreed furniture components and applicable supplied fittings are installed.
- Build the selected frames and fit their supplied shelves as the foundation of the storage unit.
- Install booked standard or glass doors with the hardware supplied for the purchased model.
- Assemble the selected drawer boxes and fit them into the furniture’s intended storage positions.
- Include manufacturer-supplied anti-tip fitting only where that hardware is suitable for the actual wall.
- Tidy the area used for the agreed assembly and installation of the supplied furniture components.

A bookcase kit can include a small restraint packet alongside its larger frames and shelves. Keep that packet and the model’s instructions available instead of treating them as spare accessories. The included anti-tip fitting depends on supplied hardware being appropriate for the intended wall and the manufacturer’s installation requirements.
At your Mountain View home, identify the final position before the work starts and clear the route around it. If an installation requirement cannot be met because a fitting is missing or unsuitable, address it before loading the shelves. The service does not assume that an upright frame alone is a completed installation.
Select the actual full-height columns, doors and drawers that need building. If you started the frame and stopped, explain the completed steps and the condition of any fittings before booking. Does choosing a children’s room change the included bookcase assembly?
The selected columns, shelves and storage components use the same service configuration. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and use instructions for the actual product, including required restraint steps. A room label does not replace those requirements or make an unfinished installation suitable to load and use.
I already joined the side panels. Can I book fewer columns?
Describe the partial assembly and any damaged or missing fittings to UPTask before choosing the scope. A partly joined frame remains the same furniture column, even though some steps were started. Keep the remaining hardware and instructions available so the work can be reviewed accurately.
Can I move the bookcase after the supplied restraint is installed?
Choose the final position before the fitting work, because moving the unit can change its relationship to the wall restraint. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions if it later needs relocating. Do not assume an existing attachment remains correctly installed after the furniture has been shifted to a different place.
